When he saw this place, he started crying and said this is exactly what he needed. He hasn't painted anything in a year...and I told him I would hold his feet to the fire and I would hold him accountable.
Most of the galleries are glorified frame shops; I wanted this to be a true gallery. I wanted it to be diverse. We have abstracts, westerns... people have too many tastes to only allow one sort of art here.

I started working with artists in Ohio, and we started a thing called Art Night where people would bring their work and present it. It grew from six people to over 200. It was very positive.
