Truthfully, I felt I didn't want to let the city down. That's the feeling you have out there. They came to see you play, and you really want to put on a good performance for them.

During the past 15 days, my knee has been feeling great. I was out on the track doing sprints, agility movements, throwing and exercises to help increase my stamina. Even with some fluid remaining, my knee has been handling the pressure and I've been able to work through it. My workouts continue to be positive and I feel that I'm getting closer to my goal of joining my teammates this season.

You want to put on a good performance for them and bring that whole atmosphere back here in San Francisco, and get everybody excited.

I'll be there. I'll be on the field and in the lineup on Opening Day. I think that's fair to say. Based on the way my right knee is feeling right now, I'll be ready.
