We were better in a couple of spots, but overall we need to be better mentally prepared for a race. Cross country's a sport where you have to be ready to go when the gun goes off. You're not going to find the answers out of the course.

He'll definitely have his opportunity after being in the shadows. He's a good cyclist, too, but he's starting to make the transition to more and more. He was always running tired the last few years when he did both, but as he concentrates on running, he should be more rested.
