Apparently his ex-girlfriend was there with somebody else, and it escalated somehow into a fight.
This individual basically lived in the area, had gone to a convenience store to purchase alcohol. That was the last time he was seen. The clerk refused him alcohol. Apparently he was very intoxicated at the time and wasn't seen since then.
Always be aware of your surroundings, but it's difficult (to do anything) when someone comes up with a gun.
