I worked in the nursery for two weeks, and they were going to let me go, but they let me work on a crew one day and decided to let me stay. I always say it's because I dug three holes and the other guy only dug two. I learned a lot there.
I think it helps people to see for their own garden which plants have an interest, you know, before you buy it.
Maybe sometimes you're just scared, and you need to re-evaluate where you are and what you want. Sometimes you just get stuck on a track or a way of doing things.
A lot of this stuff wouldn't happen without the volunteers since we're a nonprofit organization.
If you just see your job as a job or a way to pay the bills, then it doesn't seem like it's fulfilling you. Life should be more than that, I think.
