Matt gave everything he had. He just wore out at the end. Garrett had to play the whole game both ways. We just didn't have quite enough horsepower to beat them.
That was a game that we were going to have to play extremely well the entire game to win, and we played fairly well for three quarters. Part of the fourth quarter was fatigue. Too few were doing too much. We just made mistakes. We were stretched very thin.
We'll have to have a lot of confidence that he will be fine to risk him playing. Whether he plays or not, our game plan doesn't change a lot.
We have experience on offense up front. We have nine starters back on offense and experience all the way through. Running the football will be one of our attributes and our passing game should be improved from a year ago.
A big play by Dean got us going. The turnovers kind of balanced out. They owed us a few. We had some tremendous opportunities that we let slip away in the first half. We had a chance to take control of the game and didn't.
