Dwight was sensational. As I've said all year, he's continued to grow and grow and grow and has gotten better in every phase of the game. But to get 26 rebounds. That's a monster effort for anybody and you don't see that too often in today's game.
Dwight was everything the Bear ever said he would be.
Dwight should be good to go. Dallas Clark is about the same. We'll know once he takes the (neurological) test. If he passes the test, he'll be able to play.
Dwight sat out of practice but we think he's going to be fine and ready to play. He's got a little foot soreness, not really a sprain but just a sore foot. But all indications are he should be ready to go. So we just wanted to rest him today.
Dwight is a good player. Not just in an individual way but he is a guy who can move the team.
Dwight has to commit to his teammates that he's going to be a better free-throw shooter. It's a little difficult when you go to a guy for 3 1/2 quarters and then, down the stretch, you can't because he's not making foul shots.
Dwight has come back fit and refreshed and he is ready to play. He is good in the mind and he is good in the legs after watching him training so he will play.
I'm not too sure whether moving Dwight into the front would have made any difference (against the Mariners) but it may be different the next time.
I caddied for Dwight Eisenhower and Omar Bradley long before they became generals or president, for that matter. Just between you and me, Bradley tipped better than Eisenhower did.
When I first came into the league, I was with Tim Dwight in San Diego, and a guy named Eric Parker, who really showed me the work ethic it takes to be an NFL receiver, and I've really tried to keep that with me.
