We absolutely didn't want to lose to Hamburg for a third time this season - during most of the match we played very well and football worth seeing.
It could have been 4-0 in the first half. Unfortunately we missed our chances and let Hamburg get back into the game.
We were not 100 percent against Hamburg but our (unbeaten domestic) run is over and maybe that will ease the pressure a bit.
We were much stronger in the second half, but the sending off hindered our chances. Hamburg were too aggressive for us.
We've made a number of trips there to look at the venue and the hotel and the training facility, and we think Hamburg is going to be a great situation for us as our base camp in Germany.
We have a cushion now that Hamburg has lost. There are still a few matches to play, but the pressure is now less.
We lost against Hamburg in the first half of the season and did not become worse because of it. Instead, we left the others behind and if that happens again, I can live with this defeat.
I want to give applause to Hamburg and the German people for being so wonderful to me during my visit. I will never forget my time here.
I played against him in Rome and Hamburg this year, won twice in straight sets. Also, I haven't lost to a Spaniard this year yet, so hopefully tomorrow this will continue.
