Randy would do a great job, he's ready to be a head coach. I don't think he has a weakness. He just needs the opportunity. None of us had head coaching experience until we got our first chance.
Randy was saying that he hadn't won a championship since he left Marshall and that (the '96 title) was something he was very proud of. With the 10-year anniversary coming up he really wanted to celebrate that.
Randy wasn't the reason we didn't win a championship. Randy had a Pro Bowl effort every year. But I do think we'll do better than we did last year. Not because Randy isn't here. I just think our defense is going to be better. That's why we'll be better.
Randy was, in my opinion, the best. He really was the best. We played against him so many times; there aren't many guys like him around.
Randy was great, we just didn't give him anything to work with.
Randy was fine. He had an easy night getting there because he had the big lead.
Randy was excellent. The last two times out he's been lighting it up.
Randy was a very good high school athlete. He walked on with us and probably didn't like me too much because I kind of encouraged him to try baseball.
Randy was a guy who got by on raw ability for a long time. He could do all of the stuff he was doing without working out. Now, I think he has something to prove and he's going to prove it.
Randy was a devoted Christian and loved people, and I'll always remember that big, wide smile on his face. ... He was a very dear, dear friend, and I'm going to miss him a lot.
