We've already had really good reports from Microsoft and Intel and those are the two most important suppliers to Dell. Both had upside surprises from their PC and server-related business.

We've achieved a good profit outcome despite softness in some of our businesses and weak revenue growth. Our profit reflects the fact that we continue to tune our business models and cost structures.

The possibilities of that tie-in are endless if one contemplates the possibility of software and tools delivered over the Internet and paid for by online adverts. This also gives Microsoft the ability to control its own destiny and eliminate the service that Yahoo is providing selling the ads.

The perception among a lot of customers is that nobody understands Microsoft products like Microsoft. Many of them want the security of that direct relationship with Microsoft.

The percentage of customers who say they are actively looking to replace Microsoft has gone up. When it comes down to it, some people aren't going to be able to do it (migrate off of Windows and Office). But where Microsoft can be replaced, it's become a real fashionable thing to do.

Unlike Windows Vista, I also don't see any major disturbance caused by 2007 delivery of the next Office version. Microsoft is smart to release both products together.

We are seeing anything from soft tissue injuries to major injuries that can involve paralysis from the lap belt, to thoracic injuries from the shoulder belt.
