This meeting greatly strengthened my conviction that cooperation between both countries may have another strong boost. We identified a desire for cooperation in all levels of government, not only of the Executive, but also of the Legislative.
We have always had profound ties, of respect and mutual cooperation.
They are observing the increase of our cropland and may become important suppliers, as Brazil imports over 50% of its needs.
Agreements which, I hope, will be followed by other treaties that will give increasing force to cooperation. It is now up to our diplomats to work for them to be implemented.
