Guess what, we have the tape. I was astonished.
I'm not blaming anyone in particular, but whoever in the government is responsible for this has to be held accountable.
I think it is pretty clear the system is flawed. I don't think the citizens of Henderson expect that every 20th phone call is going to be lost.
They specifically said no tape exists because of recording equipment malfunctioned.
If the judge feels losing evidence is appropriate behavior by the city and not a violation of my client's rights, then I can't dispute that under the circumstances.
