We might see a market shift. So the next six months is really critical for WAP.
There is clearly increasing pressure on WAP (wireless application protocol). NTT is pushing very hard to impose I-mode as an alternative to WAP.
There's a good strategic fit if you look at it that way.
Both companies had to do something and this deal is probably the best they can do.
