The Rube Goldberg demonstrations are always well-attended on campus because it's fun to see how complicated our engineering students can make even the most trivial of actions. Sometimes their inventions work great. It is a fun exercise in semi-futility that produces a lot of camaraderie among the students who build these machines.

It is expected FSA will consolidate its physical presence in 26 of 93 counties. We will be working over the next several weeks to determine and finalize what office combinations will be made.

All counties contiguous to the 44 identified counties will also be a part of the plan as we look to see where the best combinations fit the needs of farmers across Illinois.

Eight to 10 jobs depend on a farmer. There would be a whole lot less economic activity in the rural areas without this money.
