Meaningful, constitutional parental consent laws are designed to help and protect minors. Today, we are voting to uphold those laws.
A diligent effort was made to eliminate matters that did not have evidentiary value.
I'm not convinced that they are doing anything inappropriate. The purpose of this hearing is to examine all sides of this to make certain that this is being handled in a way that is legal and Constitutional.
