This was a business decision. It involves establishing the most efficient process for getting our products to customers at the lowest cost, and is no reflection on the Pine Bluff workforce.
We made several adjustments on defense and ran our half-court trap fairly well. That caused major havoc for them and got the temp going.
I don't know if we've made a statement, but it's enjoyable. This tournament kind of emulates the state tournament, so we can learn from this.
We came out and were much more aggressive with our press and forced several turnovers, converting them into points and not just shot attempts.
We got spanked against Beaverton and it was a little shocking. I was really proud of how we responded. We came out with more energy and we took it to them and had a great first quarter.
Are any not going to be touched? I don't think so, I think every single department within that general fund has to see a touch, ... I think they'll all be affected in one way or another.
I truly believe our league is the toughest league (in the state) as far as teams from top to bottom. On any given night, any given team can get a victory.
It may be 'I'm sorry guys, I don't care how you do it, but bring your paper from home,' ... Every department will feel some effect, we just can't tell you how.
It was very, very good defense. And offensively, we did a good job of setting the tempo to our liking.
They're always a rough and tumble, blue-collar team.
