Gary Player's story has and continues to be fascinating to even the casual fan. We are grateful for the support of Mr. Player and the Gary Player Group in our effort to provide a glimpse into the life of this global champion.
We look forward to learning the results of this year's class so we can begin the process of their induction and most importantly, begin preparing to preserve their legacies amongst the game's greatest players and contributors.
The purpose of this exhibit is to give fans of the game a true sense of who Mr. Player is, providing perspective to the man who is considered one of the greatest ambassadors the game has ever seen.
I think that over time, the people who deserve to be in the Hall of Fame -- who are of Hall of Fame caliber -- I think they'll get in.
