We won our pool, then lost in the first round of the playoffs to Plum. It was a bit disappointing, but we're hoping to do much better at Saturday's Seneca Valley tournament.
Ricky got a late start, but is quickly shaking off the rust. Having him in the lineup has made it a lot easier dealing with the new faces on the front line.
It came down to the final point. We were even down, 12-8 and 14-12 before rallying for the victory. Mt. Lebanon played an excellent match, but we came through at the end.
We lost both outside hitters and one middle hitter. Fortunately, our setter, Ricky Murray, is back.
Dave played right, middle and outside hitter last year, but mostly on the right side. Now he's getting a chance to be our top gun and has done well.
