Natalie Murray has been very strong on the mound.

The girls believe in the system. They believe in each other. They are friends outside of softball so everything comes so natural to them when working together. Combine all of that with excellent pitching, stellar fielding and strong bats, I would say that we should be pretty strong this year.

We have had a few key errors that have allowed the other teams to score runs. We have only been outside for four games (before last Wednesday) ... so I have to believe that with more time playing on a dirt field that we will fine-tune the defense and we will eliminate those errors.

We have only been able to get outside one day, so the first few ground balls in the dirt or fly balls in the sun during a game may be challenging.

We have very low numbers; only 22 girls tried out. We have had a few injuries already. That makes it difficult to have a full field practice.
