I would love to have a professional dulcimer player perform for the kids.
All children are affected adversely by bullying but gifted children differ from other children in significant ways.
Many are intense, sensitive and stressed by their own and others' high expectations and their ability, interests and behavior may make them vulnerable.
The unit keeps them active and interested during the second semester.
They really look forward to playing them. I integrate rhythm work into the unit and we learn about whole and half steps. The kids who have experience with guitars or other string instruments pick it up quickly.
