Usually, they didn't realize it. They tend to resolve the violation or the situation right away by taking it down or moving it. Typically, the first notice resolves it. It's just a matter of communication.
Since I've been here, I haven't had to go to court on anything.
We're complaint driven. Almost everything is complaint driven by the citizens, or maybe other staff. I'm not out looking for violations so I can pick on a property.
I found as fairness goes, if a citizen complains, we absolutely respond to them and take care of it if it needs to be taken care of.
