By mid-June motorists are going to have a chance to drive over the first bridge for the first time.
This has been a chronic choke-point for traffic both coming out of Old Town (Alexandria) as well as coming north from Fairfax County towards the bridge.
What we're going to have until mid-2008 is a six-lane bridge, just like we have a six-lane bridge now.
