The outfield may not be as fast as I would like. I would hope they will make the routine plays and every once in a while make a spectacular play. We may not be able to run down balls hit in the gaps, but hopefully we won't drop the routine fly ball, either.
When a team gives you an out, you've got to take it. We just cannot allow a team extra outs. We don't have the strong pitching that our opponents have. When the outs are there, we must take them.
If you give up too many walks, the fielders tend to go to sleep.
For us, it is a rebuilding year. I would like to say we are just reloading, but, unfortunately, we are rebuilding.
