Our front's solid, we're just not in good enough shape yet, but that'll come. Marcus (Graham) is smart, and, really, an excellent athlete. It's his first year playing football. We're lucky to have him out here. Burgess is such a physical player, and he'll get the ball more on offense too.

We have the talent. It seemed that this kind of setup (the pace and round-robin style) favored the offense a bit. But we were sloppy on both sides. We need to come out with more intensity and be better prepared.

We improved as the scrimmage went on. In the later part, we played a lot better.

Nobody is going to feel sorry for us. We have to get tougher and go learn how to win.

Our players are picking up on what we're doing very well. And they're hungry to win.

I think the players will put pressure on themselves to win because they are aware of Norman North's past. As coaches, we tell them to just go out and work hard every down, play to win and have a good attitude. If we do that, we'll win football games.
