One of the things that's so devastating about this storm is Biloxi was really being restored from the really grand, public historic buildings to the smallest vernacular cottages.
We are looking for people saving the architectural legacy of the Coast, and by that we mean heroic efforts - brave people working to save their homes, businesses and churches before further elements destroy them. What they are doing is no easy task and we want to recognize them.
People are in so much pain right now, and it's going to be very difficult to tell them 'no' when it comes to their property. Collectively, they may want their historic neighborhood. But individually, they might want vinyl siding.
