Our biggest concern with delisting is that we have to have provisions for habitat protection. It doesn't do any good to protect the bird if you don't protect his habitat.
The hawks wouldn't have defended their nest so ferociously if they didn't have chicks. Anything could have eaten them.
It's becoming more common, even though it's illegal. They're in the way of development.
This just proves the Endangered Species Act works.
