What's important to remember is this is a treatment they're receiving after all other methods have failed. We truly believe that we're giving patients a new lease on life.
It's intended for those patients who are at an advanced stage of diabetes. Other therapies haven't helped them and they are in a lot of pain. Because of that, we're happy to be providing MAT for our South Florida patients.
We are seeing some very positive results in patients, including those at this center.
This happens three times altogether, making the treatment last six hours each week. Of course, since many of the same patients are being seen week after week, they've gotten to know each other well. That causes the time to fly by for them.
