I've known them since they were infants. It's a nice family. They are quiet people, very respectful. This is all just shocking.
That was a big red flag for us; we need to work with organizers on it next year.
We had no idea so many people would actually go out on a reef. People need to be educated that they're stepping on living creatures.
At one point we counted 300 people standing on the reef. It didn't occur to us people would stand on the reef.
