This whole experience has been unbelievable. It's kind of a thrill, a joy ride.

I've only got six games under my belt and Gomez has got those two Cups. Those guys are still just role models to me.

I'm sure I'll get some grief from it, that's to be expected. I guess I'd rather be taking the grief than not.

But it's all in good fun. I'd definitely rather be getting the grief than not.

To me, this is more about representing the University of Denver. So much has happened the last couple weeks, but this still has been on my mind; being able to go to (Milwaukee) for one last hurrah will be a great way to celebrate the opportunity DU gave me.

I was joking with Chris and Brian up there, how all three of us were just glad this thing was coming to an end after all the hype in the last three months. Now they're both competing for a national championship tomorrow (today).

We've got to get better defensively. We need to come out (tonight) and get two points.

By no means are we a lock to make the national tournament, and we are trying to control our own destiny. There is more emphasis on this series than my previous two years here.

It's been kind of a storybook college career. I give my teammates a lot of credit for everything we accomplished as well as helping me win this award.

Every day has been an experience and the guys have been great, making the transition easier. The whole experience has been fun and I'm happy to be here.
