Quite honestly, I think our seniors have tried to do a good job of leading this team and being patient. But now it's time for some of these sophomore and freshmen kids to stop acting like babies and start playing like young men. It was a great meeting but now it's time to quit talking about it and start doing it.

Really, the last two ballgames have been better. Against (South Bend) Adams, the first three quarters, we played maybe as well as we have all season, but just didn't finish it off; and then against Marian, we played well again, then hit a dead spot, but the kids did a nice job of not having the attitude of 'here we go again.' They made some defensive stops and got it turned back in the right direction.

We did petition the IHSAA to allow us to play with a sixth man on the floor so we could get equal numbers in terms of total inches and weight, but it was denied.

They're very solid, very methodical, very experienced, and against Concord, they showed they don't get too upset about things.

We're going to have a good week of practice and get ourselves ready. If you can come out of a loss with more confidence, we should be able to do that after tonight.

The third quarter was our demise tonight. We continued to take the ball to the ball to the basket, but we just came up empty. When you score four points in one quarter, that's definitely a dry spell.
