Sometimes I make a little more money, sometimes I don't. It all goes to cover the cost of having bands.
We've tried different things. I run karaoke on Sundays, Mondays and Tuesdays, and my overhead on that is a lot less. My basement bar is a dance club. I have a house system and I pay a DJ, but that's nothing compared to the cost of a band.
I've contemplated it. But I didn't want to do that and I know the Ox doesn't want to do that.
At first, everyone was upset with (cover charges) and we had a little backlash. But now we hardly ever hear about it.
