We'll be looking at how well they've learned the material they should have learned as students. This has to do with the idea of accountability, and seeing what kind of job we have been doing as a university.

We don't have to do this to get accredited, but when (North Central) reviews the materials they look for how we are sure students are competent in areas. Every university is faced with accountability.

North Central wants to make sure graduated students will have the highest academic achievement they can at Marshall. We're excited about the possibility of what it (Assessment Day) will mean to the university.

It's a chance for students to see their expertise.
