Today was really a microcosm of our season.

The bottom line is turnovers, and we did a great job of securing turnovers. We got the ball back with 2:20 left, and I challenged our team to get the first down and to stay on the field. And they did.

Garrett Mills is a very good football player. His intelligence, his athleticism, the way he approaches the game gives us, on offense, the ability to do a lot of creative things.

I've got far too much credit for what's taken place. What you see on Saturday, as a fan ... I'm fortunate enough as a coach to see Monday through Friday.

This was a great team victory today. I am so proud of these guys. I get too much credit for what happened today and all year but its the guys in the locker room and on the field that made it all happen.

We planned on that happening, in terms of the way we prepared, the way we were approaching our Thanksgiving break as coaches.

We weren't coming down here to eat a box lunch, get on the bus and go home. We came to Norman to win the football game ... and our guys played their heart out.
