It's tough, but everyone goes through it. It's been very trying, but there's not much you can do but go back to practice and try and get better.
This team (Carthage) is a very good team. They haven't found their rhythm yet. You just hoped they wouldn't find it against us. I thought we did a good job of defending them and keeping them from that rhythm, we just had a letdown at the wrong time.
We've got to get the easy points. We have to. We don't score enough to leave those points out there.
Our kids played hard, and they never gave up. We just dug too big a hole and put ourselves in a difficult situation.
Every team goes through this at some time during the season, so it's not an excuse you can use. But they were definitely deeper than we were tonight.
