We wanted this opportunity. This group still feels the burn from losing 42-40 last year.
I wasn't happy with our energy early. Sometimes it's hard to turn it around after a heartbreaker. I challenged our guys at halftime. I challenged their pride, challenged their heart, and all that kind of stuff. And I thought we responded well in the third quarter.
We've been working so hard to get back to this point.
We knew it was an option. We still got the shot we were looking for.
The further you get, the closer you are, the more heartbreaking it is.
