I've been competing since eighth-grade. It gives me the ability to fight off blocks and overpower people.
It's about getting more experience, because that position (middle linebacker) takes a lot of reps.
It was kind of a break-out game for me. I was involved on more plays (tackles), reading the plays and filling the holes. I was also able to time my blitzes a little bit better.
