Not that I want to sound pretentious, because half of our fans that come to a show just want to throw themselves around in the crowd, but the other half want to maybe stand there and whisper the lyrics into their boyfriends' ears.

If you want meaning, you read poetry or a novel or something, you don't read song lyrics. You're supposed to listen to them with music.
