We're looking forward to Yale. It makes it nice when you only have an hour and a half road trip versus a seven hour one.
Monday and Tuesday are the busiest school days. If you look at our schedule, I think we've done a good job keeping our tournaments on the weekends.
If it was up to me we wouldn't have played on Saturday. The conditions were unfair.
We wanted to jump out on them early. I thought we were sharp and we shot the ball well for the first time at Marsh.
We get about 100 shots. We do a good job of sharing. Chico State is always been known as a high scoring team. All these things really benefit us.
We haven't been getting what we'd like to out of our guys this spring. But this is an important tournament and they know that.
We didn't play or place as well as we'd like to in the tournament. Every team that we competed against play golf all year long.
We definitely got a big time Chico State flavor.
We only gave up five in overtime, where compared to the last overtime we just played we gave up 17. And Jason Van Eck had some big blocks.
You expect your top guys to perform a little better. But it was a tough field with some good competition.
Some people get married, take each other for granted, go off and do their own thing and no longer nurture the relationship.
They're doing great. They're the foundation of our team. We're really lucky to have guys that are really well-coached. Coach Puck Smith has done a great job with them, and they all know how to work well with each other.
It was our first tournament this season, and it was a great experience for us.
It was disappointing. Our other three guys didn't play to their averages.
It is terrific for Jason to win the championship.
It's a privilege to play at Bethpage. We've got some quality kids on this team. I think we can score very well and even win the thing.
I guess we've got to accept some falls or some deficiencies, but we played golf every day at some great golf courses.
