We're not cutting any services; what we're doing is redistributing services.

We have to look at our agreements with Metro -- any kind of universal pass would involve them. It's kind of encouraging to hear that the students are interested in public transportation -- whatever happens, it's nice to know they want to be involved.

We occasionally hear suggestions from students, mostly international students who are transit-dependent.

That's one of the major reasons we're doing this. It was getting to the point where it was standing room only.
