I don't know if it's been too much. I just think that with the combination of the ceremonies, the off day, all the families that were in town, all the people that wanted a piece of our time the last few days, it's just been difficult because it's almost like the game was secondary, which is not how it should be. It's great, we enjoyed it, but it's time to move on to a new season.

We tried that the last time we were here. It didn't work then, either.

Do we feel lucky? No. Did they feel lucky when they won last night?

That kind of surprised me, because they usually make you beat them. But we were able to take advantage of what they were giving us. That's a good sign, because we did the same thing last year, too.

The last time I checked, we came out after the break and played pretty well. It's always nice when you win and win early and set everything up.

The rings are great. We can now put last year behind us and move on. After tomorrow, hopefully all this stuff goes away and we can focus on the season.

The day it comes down to me being afraid to come up and face somebody, that should be my last day in baseball.
