They weren't a matter of bad reads. It was an accuracy situation. What we tried to emphasize to everybody at halftime was to remember that things aren't always going to be perfect and to forget about it.

Vic has some of those Marques personal qualities in that it would be advantageous to the team to have him in the game. We all think, Vic included, that we're anxious to see Vic in the game. This has been his best session since he's been here. I think this is the first time really that we can reasonably think about getting some playing time for Marvin.

We had to play Mark Miller outside today which really just left us with a three-man rotation inside. It seemed like Antonio's time is here. He had a good week of practice. We're committed to playing these young players and the only way they are going to improve is to play them in the game.

I really hesitate to say it because he hasn't played a game yet, but he's really looking like what we're looking for there. For what he's had to learn and do in a short period of time here, he's been impressive. I would expect that he's going to be a good player this year and increasingly better in the future.

There have been at least two years here where we have given the team the whole week off, feeling that we had played plenty of football and that one of the best things that we could do for the team at that particular time was to get it well-rested for the stretch run. Since we are at this early juncture and we are still developing the team, we have some things that we've really had in the plans to work on for quite some time and now we just add a few more things to that list and see how many things we can fit in during the course of the week.
