Basketball was always my first love, but once I had a good year as a senior, I figured the next step was to play college football.

I was probably more nervous before this game than any professional football game I've ever played.

Willie has been playing great. He adds a different dimension to what people are used to seeing when they think Steelers football. They think hard, grind-it-out football getting two yards at a time. Not that we really have changed that, but Willie kind of adds that dimension that he can bounce it outside and get you 10, 15 or 20 yards on any given run.

This team is an unbelievable football team. They're as good as it gets in the NFL. It's going to take our A-plus game to go out and beat their B-minus game.

You go out and you try to do a little too much instead of playing within yourself and playing within the system. The thing this year is to try not to make mistakes you made last year. (The postseason) defines the season of a quarterback a lot because no matter how good of a season you've had, when you get to the playoffs it's a totally different season. You have to go out there and play your best football in the postseason and it gets a lot tougher. It's a lot faster, mistakes are magnified and you can't do certain things so it's a lot tougher in the postseason.

This is probably the most nervous I've been before any professional football game.

I'm more comfortable now. Last year, it was kind of 'Oh my gosh, I'm so nervous and scared, here we go. Don't make a mistake.' I'm not going to go out and play not to make a mistake this year. I'm going to go out to win football games.

I had confidence in the guys and I had confidence in myself. I knew that when the regular season got here, and we were ready to go out and game plan and really play football when it mattered, we'd be OK. I think today we showed that we did a pretty good job - especially on offense.
