We are confident the people of Island Heights and its Board of Education will do what is right for its children,
The residents of Island Heights who are for Central are spreading false rumors about losing local control that are absolutely false. That hasn't happened in Seaside Heights, has it?
Island Heights is committing to nothing. We're footing the bill and it won't cost them a dime. All Island Heights would be approving is a study so that the facts and necessary information could be made available to everyone.
If Island Heights votes to join us in the study, it will join us in the potential tax savings. If they don't, and we pursue withdrawal, it could cost Island Heights taxpayers even more money to send children to Central Regional.
