Wakefield was probably as good as I've seen him. His ball was moving all over the place. We could have been out there for another three hours and I don't think we'd have gotten any more hits off him.
Just because you've seen a guy doesn't mean you're going to get hits off him the next time. He seemed to bear down when guys got on base, and when he got ahead, he threw that split.
Those are situations you have to come through. Because two-out hits are pretty clutch.

Another one of those sit around and figure out the scenarios. That's about all you can say. We had our chances right from the first inning. We just didn't get any hits with guys on base. I'm well aware of what it takes to win. We just didn't do it.
I guess I was due then. Every time is a different situation. Those are big ... you've got to find ways to come through. Those are situations you have to come through because two-out hits are pretty clutch.
