When two people in an intimate-couple relationship look at their interactions as opportunities to learn about themselves instead of change each other, they are infusing their relationship with the energy of spiritual partnership.

Some people feel good about helping others, and they do so often. They do not realize that their good deeds have a second agenda. They want to be appreciated.

A spiritual partnership is between people who promise themselves to use all of their experiences to grow spiritually. They use their emotions to show them how to create constructive and healthy and joyful consequences instead of destructive and unhealthy and painful consequences.

The one characteristic of authentic power that most people overlook is humbleness. It is important for many reasons. A humble person walks in a friendly world. He or she sees friends everywhere he or she looks, wherever he or she goes, whomever he or she meets. His or her perception goes beyond the shell of appearance and into essence.

It is possible that scientists, poets, painters and writers are all members of the same family of people whose gift it is by nature to take those things which we call common-place and to 're-present' them to us - the world - in such ways that our self-imposed limitations are expanded.

Its not possible to do the wrong thing. You do what you do and you experience the consequences of what you do. If you do not experience this before you doe, your soul creates a new life so that you can. This is reincarnation. Eventually, you treat people as you would like to be treated.

I don't have a definition of God, because I've never really understood that word. People have different understandings of it and it's caused a great deal of conflict. If I had to say what would my definition of God be, if I were going to use that word, I would say that this universe has layers upon layers upon layers of compassion and wisdom beyond ours.

The frequency of anger attracts the frequency of anger, the frequency of greed attracts the frequency of greed, and so on. This is the law of attraction. Negativity attracts negativity, just as love attracts love. Therefore, the world of an angry person is filled with angry people, the world of a greedy person is filled with greedy people, and a loving person lives in a world of loving people.

I cannot change you. I cannot change other people. So I have decided to put all of my energy where I have the most leverage , where I know I can make a difference. Instead of being upset that this world is not populated the way I want it to be populated, I have decided to become the citizen that I want the world to be populated with. That's how I create the vision.

This is my experience of Oprah Winfrey - she makes decisions as frequently as she can to contribute with consciousness, with awareness, with love. I know - this is the source of her joy, her vitality, her unending creativity and her connection to people.

Angry people attract angry people and live in an angry world and this validates their opinion that the world is angry.

As people become multisensory, they begin to realize that their lives are meaningful, that there's a purpose to all of their experiences - to the people that they meet, to the challenges that they have, that nothing is random.

As you create authentic power, you discover that the people in your life whom you thought were your enemies are not really enemies from the point of view of your soul. From the point of view of your soul, they are your friends or you would not be together at all.

When you ask for help listen. It's one thing to ask the question and it's another thing to listen to the answer. Many people ask questions but they do not like what they hear and so they pretend that they heard nothing at all.

No two people have the same reality

Most people use their energy attempting to rearrange circumstances that trigger painful emotions. Changing external circumstances will not change your rigid patterns of emotional response. That requires looking at the patterns themselves.

The desire to please other people is a potent way to distract yourself from what you are feeling.

You lose power to the people and circumstances you judge. They capture your attention in the same way that a movie does.
