It is clear to us ... that an interim government can only be Fijian as we develop a new constitution, which is designed primarily to make sure the rights of the indigenous peoples of Fiji, who own this country, are protected once and for all.
We're quite prepared to pay that price. Why then is the international community ... condemning when indigenous people stick up for their rights, to exert themselves in their own home country. I can't understand it. I think you people are hypocrites.
This whole crusade is about bringing back the supremacy, or the interests, of indigenous Fijians in ... Fiji.
