It's not as distracting as I thought it would be, ... It's in the back of your mind. For anyone to totally forget about that is not human. At the same time, I've dealt with a lot of distractions all year with the All-Star game and the 'sophomore slump.'

The key to the whole game was getting a lead early. We've been playing from behind in a lot of games. It's tough when you go into the seventh, eighth and ninth innings every night knowing that every at bat is do-or-die.

You want to win so badly, but this isn't a game where you can try harder. You have to try easier, and that's easier said than done.
