From tee to green, we're great. But our putting killed us. We really have to do a lot of work on our short game.
If we shave a few strokes here and there in our short game, we should be right there. It's that close and that competitive in this league. Anyone can win.
We practice three times a week over in Carson City and are working hard on the short game. After all, 70 percent of golf is played at 100 yards or less.
(The short game) does tame time and patience. The team is willing to dedicate the necessary time to improve. The results don't come overnight - it's a game where a lot of practice eventually pays off.
