The thing I see different about this defensive team is they're having more fun doing what they do. They're having a lot of fun attacking and making plays.

That's exactly the way I saw it. He didn't play much. Football is such a team game. How the quarterback does depends on if players help out and make good receptions. And the offensive line has to help him out.

This schedule will be a tremendous challenge for our football team. But it's a great home schedule for our fans, with marquee teams such as Florida State and Virginia Tech coming to the Orange Bowl. Those are the teams our fans want to see.

We have good players. Now who will be a great player or All-American? Some of those guys will be around here and have a chance to do those things if our team is good. If our team is not good, those things probably will disappear.

Certainly a good win for us. ... But I told our team be very complimentary toward Colorado. They really made us earn everything we got. Nothing easy.

A great rivalry is two great programs that are competitive every year. In a great rivalry, you've played 100 games and that team has won 50 and your team has won 50.

Special teams really hurt us. We've been very good on special teams the last few years. Obviously, we weren't very good against Florida State.

Kelly helps Bruce but it's more of a teammate kind of help. You would never know they were related unless you know the facts.

That was an extremely disappointing loss. Special teams really, really let us down tonight.

We didn't let Marcus get comfortable today. It was an outstanding team win for us, just a tremendous effort by our defense. That was a huge difference in the game.

It's great to end the season with a win. But again, we've got new resolve. We hate to end the season with three losses, that taste in our mouth. It's an opportunity to come back and really get back on track and again be one of the elite football teams in the country. That's what we expect.

Derrick hasn't missed anything. He's on time, he conscientious, he works. That tells me something. And it tells our football team something.

Obviously, I think it was an aberration, but it is a reality. We're still a team that won nine games, but this one was a real shock.

I'm really surprised at how far along he is. But his determination to get back, to help this team be good and get to where he wants to be really speaks volumes about Eric.
