My goal is to play within the offense, like I did last week. I learned to trust the guys around me. If I have to resort to running at some point in time, then I'll do it.

I am terribly disappointed. But this is the ultimate team sport and we will have to keep playing. I have confidence that these guys and coaches can get it done.

Sometimes being selfish is not a bad thing. Some guys just want the ball. They feel like they can make a difference. There is nothing wrong in that.

It's 11 guys doing their job. If we hammer them, hammer them, throw it, and then run it at them, then maybe victory will come. At the same time, I have to be doing my job and the receivers have to be blocking. There are a lot of things that come together to make the run game work. We believe in it, which is why we are leading the league.

It's a great deal, and that's always the goal to start the regular season off that way and that's what we tried to do. We have a great training staff who keep guys up, keep them safe and take care of all of their injuries.

Dan is a sweet guy, very sweet. He's a guy that really cares about his players. I think he went the extra mile for us, and a lot of guys are going to miss him.

I've just got to get the ball to guys and get them involved in the game and capitalize on our opportunities, and I know we will do that,

Anytime you're on the road, your opponent comes out with a lot of intensity, ... We say that you've got to weather the first-quarter storm because they're going to be jacked up. That's why they were hitting me after the throw. That's why they were fined 15 (yards). It's part of the game. Guys are going to be jacked up and ready to play, they just have to keep their composure.

I just told them I was going to be a different quarterback, ... I was going to keep my poise. I was going to stay in the pocket. I was going to make sure what I was seeing was legit. I was seeing the field and seeing everything clearly and I was able to get guys involved. That's what I've been looking for. That's what we've been looking for as an offense, and it worked.

The Eagles have so many guys you have to watch, like hard-hitting No. 20, Brian Dawkins. You are always aware of him on the field.
